Mega Powerful Wonder, better known as King MPW, is the ruler of La Pradera Kingdom and the former king of the Deserto Kingdom. He currently resides on Icikulu Island, which was established after the Alien Nation destroyed a section of the Mushroom Kingdom where King MPW's castle had been temporarily relocated. He is the middle child of the PW family; younger brother to King SPW and older brother to MSPW. He is renowned for speed rivaling Sonic himself, particularly when empowered by Nothing energy.

King MPW initially served as the arc’s main antagonist. Following King SPW’s death at the climax of the arc, MPW claimed the Deserto throne and gradually transitioned into a heroic role. He eventually became a multiversal guardian, mentor to MSPW, and a central protagonist throughout the Nothing Particles Arc, Overlord Arc, and Time Loop Arc.
King MPW took a slight step back for this arc, serving as a major supporting character. After King SPW was revived via time travel, MPW returned to his original role as king of La Pradera Kingdom, remaining the main protagonist for subsequent arcs until the Ladder Arc.
King MPW's role as a ruler shifted slightly during this period; he relocated to Icikulu Island alongside his companions. He also founded Megalon to assist in the war effort against the Alien Nation.
King MPW served as a primary character during select stories within this arc, otherwise appearing as a background character.
King MPW returned to his prominent role from the 2401 Arc.
As a child, MPW was frequently bullied by his older brother, SPW. After discovering his pet Metapod, MPW learned to embrace conflict, realizing that power dictates respect. When his parents discovered his retaliatory plans, the resulting emotional fallout prompted MPW to swear off his ambitions.
At age 15, MPW's parents were assassinated during their 20th anniversary party by his alternate timeline counterpart, Overlord MPW. This tragedy sent MPW into a downward spiral, driving him to put his original plans back into motion. Shortly thereafter, he mastered the use of The Nothing and utilized it to mind-control Meta Knight, instigating the Meta War.
